Product Compatibility with The Windows Vista
Microsoft has finally released their Vista operating system. Many customers want to know if devices are compatible with the Windows Vista. We will be listing compatibility on individual product pages as information becomes available. We are working hard with our manufacturing and distribution partners to verify interoperability with Vista.
Part of the difficulty hardware manufacturers face is there isn't one new operating system to support, but 11. The major differences are in the 64 vs. 32 bit versions, but nonetheless, testing and fixes for Vista will take time for many devices. The following table shows how complicated this task is.

Updated constantly. If a product page doesn't explicitly state that a device is compatible with Vista, then it almost certainly is not. Look under both the 'Features and Specifications' and 'Support' headings on each page to check for compatibility. Products from some manufacturers may opt for the Windows logo program while others may not. As quick visual aids we have added one of the following icons to product pages with information related to Vista. - Vista Ready: means a product has be tested or updated to work with the Windows Vista. This may or may not mean that it is qualified under Microsoft's logo program and or have 'signed drivers.' It does mean that the item should work just fine.
- Vista Notes: icons link to compatibility charts and notes for a devices' status with the Windows Vista. Often this will indicate that a device driver works with the 32-bit version only, or that the drivers work but bundled software may not. Be sure to read such information carefully.
