Utilizing the highly compatible Texas Instruments PCI1520 chipset, this reader requires no special drivers—instead using the operating system's built in support. It also avoids the confusing and frustrating process of manually trying to force low order unshared. Simply plug into an empty PCI slot, boot, and retail versions of The Windows will automatically install the correct drivers for the device. Suitable for GSM, CDMA, wireless LAN cards including 802.11b and Bluetooth, high performance CardBus cards, the device also handles ATA Flash, CompactFlash (with PC Card adapters), and much more. In fact, the reader supports nearly any 5V/3.3V 16 or 32 bit PC Card application so long as it is supported by the host operating system.
