Harnessing the powerful PCI Express capabilities of ExpressCard, the ExpressCard 34 to FireWire 800 Host Adapter provides full 800Mbps throughput for high performance FireWire 800 peripherals. Perfect for ExpressCard 34 or 54 equipped devices, the adapter provides two FireWire 800 (IEEE 1394 B) ports. Fully backward compatible with previous FireWire standards, simply use a 9 to 6-pin cable to work with FireWire 400 devices. Use with multiple peripherals or with a hub for daisy chaining and/or hierarchical (tree) bus configurations. Ready for use with self-powered devices.
