SuperSpeed USB 3.0 to Gigabit Ethernet Host Adapter U-790
The U-790 SuperSpeed USB 3.0 to Gigabit Ethernet Host Adapter makes it a snap to add or supplement a host system connectivity to 1000Base-T/TX Ethernet. Simply plug into A USB 3.0 port, there's need to install a PCI or PC Card NIC. This plug and play device auto senses network connections and negotiates the best link available. The Ethernet port accepts a standard RJ-45 connector from the network. The single type A USB port connects the adapter directly to a host computer's USB port. While backward compatible with USB 2.0, full Gigabit Ethernet speeds and modern networking features are only realized when used with SuperSpeed USB 3.0 ports. Utilizing USB bus power, the U-790 SuperSpeed USB 3.0 to Gigabit Ethernet Host Adapter has several power saving features and also supports Wake-on-LAN functionality.
