This PCI to FireWire 400 (IEEE 1394a) Adapter provides high performance at an attractive price. Perfect for connecting DV camcorders, CCD cameras, digital still cameras, set top boxes and other FireWire 400 devices to a PC. The host adapter provides two 6-pin and one 4-pin external ports for external peripherals and one internal 6-pin port for internal FireWire devices such as hard drives or optical drives. Fully compliant with all current specifications, the PCI to FireWire 400 IEEE 1394 Adapter excels with digital video and other high speed device connections. Utilizing the widely supported VIA VT6306, this host adapter works with a wide range of hardware and operating systems.
