OmniDrive USB2 LF/SD is an external USB 2.0 based PCMCIA PC Card reader featuring two slots. One slot is a SD Card Interface for direct access to Secure Digital Cards, SDHC (High Capacity) Cards, MultiMedia Cards (MMC), and SIEMENS Micro Memory Cards for SIMATIC® (systemdependent). The second slot is a PC Card Interface for access to Linear Flash Cards, SIEMENS FMC Cards for HICOM®/HiPath®, SRAM Cards, ATA Flash Cards a.o.

To accomodate Linear Flash and SRAM the OmniDrive USB2 LF/SD comes with CSM device drivers and software tools. The Windows based PC Card Manager offers extensive possibilities for access to Memory Cards including: flexible formatter utility, hex editor and binary copy utility, test of data consistency by 16bit CRC checksum, and Linear Flash erase utility. The universal CSM programming interface (API) offers direct access to Memory Cards by DLL from own customized Windows applications. For this the CSM PC Card SDK (Software Development Kit) is available as an additional product.
