With the proliferation USB, eSATA, and Thunderbolt SATA Drive Docks on the market, it is becoming more common for end users to eschew purchasing enclosures in favor of using bare SATA drives and devices. There are some downsides to storing and deploying bare drives though, including: lack of air circulation on all sides of the device, exposure of delicate electronics on the underside, difficulty in safely stacking, and more. The Sedna Drive Stand Kit for 2.5 and 3.5-inch SSDs and HDD Hard Drives is an inexpensive means for solving all those issues. These stackable kits accommodate a single 3.5" Drive, or up to two 2.5" Drives. Made from a soft material for shock absorption, they afford better cooling through air circulation and a better degree of protection than have a drive sit directly on a surface.
